Story Concept


The experience follows this explorer as it moves through an abandoned space called “The Departure Lounge”. This is a public building which was used in the past for people to perform euthanasia on themselves and their children, since the climate conditions were so severe and the planet earth was no longer a suitable place to live. The user will be able to walk freely through this space and will stumble upon ghosts of people who visited this place and forgotten objects that will tell the story of what this place was so that the user can slowly find out the truth. The user will then find a hallway which will lead to a euthanasia room, where they will be able to see the remains of the last humans to use it.

This story is only part of a much larger project. The story starts with the explorer arriving in London, following the ghost of a mother and child into the building. This experience we worked on begins with the explorer already inside of the building, nearing the climax of the story.
